Jewellery Care Guide

General Care

Your piece has been crafted to last a lifetime; however, it must be treated with care to ensure its longevity.

Hand-engraving will wear over time, creating a beautiful, lived-in appearance — this is especially true during hard-wearing activities. If you find the engraving has become damaged or overly worn, please get in touch and we can arrange a refresh.

Please remove your ring before engaging in any activities that could knock, scratch, or dent it, such as:

  • Exercising
  • Gardening
  • Cleaning
  • Heavy lifting or removals

Please also keep your ring away from chemicals — especially chlorine — as these can cause irreversible damage to the metal. This includes swimming pools and spas.

This also includes make-up products, cleaning products and hairspray, as they can cause tarnish and product build-up.

Cleaning

To keep your piece looking as beautiful as the day you received it, regular cleaning is recommended.

At home, polish with the polishing cloth provided, or if needed, clean gently with warm water, a mild soap, and a soft toothbrush.

Dry carefully with a microfibre cloth.

Maintenance

We recommend checking your piece each time you clean it, paying close attention to the claws.
A yearly clean and polish by a jeweller is also recommended.
If you notice any issues, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Storage

Store your jewellery somewhere safe where it will not rub or tangle with other pieces, as well as out of direct sunlight and damp.
A fabric-lined box, fabric or leather pouch or jewellery box is recommended.
