Warranties

At Les Graveurs, we have extensive industry experience and quality control expertise. Only pieces that have passed our rigorous quality control standards are allowed to pass to our customers. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and part of that pride is ensuring that you have the best experience possible if there are any issues.

If your piece has a manufacturing fault, please get in touch and arrange for it to be returned as soon as possible so that we can examine it. Any manufacturing faults that are considered major failures will be immediately rectified either through repair or replacement at no cost to you.

Manufacturing faults that constitute major failures include:

  • Porosity or cracking of the metal
  • Uneven settings noted when first received.
  • Scratches and chips in stones identified when first received

This does not include damage due to mishandling or repairs carried out by third parties that are not Les Graveurs.

Items that do not fall under this category may be quoted for repair.

Please note, lifetime warranties do not cover change of mind, misuse or deliberate damage.

Repairs

As part of our commitment to craftsmanship, we are happy to assist with any repairs your piece may need.

Please get in touch with us if you have any issues with your piece, and we will be in contact to evaluate your piece and see what repairs are necessary. If the piece has experienced normal wear and tear, we may charge for repair.

Wear and tear related issues that do not constitute major failures include:

  • Dents, abrasions and scratches on the settings, band and engravings. Metal is malleable, and will abrade over time. We recommend taking your piece to a jeweller every year for a check over to ensure any issues are identified early.
  • Discolouration, pits and holes in the metal caused by exposure to chemicals, especially chlorine, and make-up.
  • The loss of a gemstone caused by damage from settings and claws that get bent, caught or worn down by wear and tear
  • The loss of a gemstone or damage to the setting due to high impact or the application of extreme force.
  • Chips, scratches and fractures of gemstones due to accidents.

We recommend taking a look at our jewellery care guide available on the website, and reading the care guide supplied with your piece to make sure that it is cared for appropriately.
