Six Claw Solitaire

The six-claw solitaire was the beginning of claw settings for engagement rings, and for a good reason. Typified by Tiffany's six-claw setting, first designed in 1886, the six claw setting allows light in through the base of the setting, and maximises the visual size of the stone itself.
